서울근교에 사는 클라이머들이 북한산 인수봉에 가는 것처럼 광주시 근교에 사는 클라이머들은 월출산 시루봉에 간다. 시루봉은 남도의 창(판소리)을 많이 닮았다. . 부드러운 둥근 선들의 융기들, 야들야들하니 해어진 주름들, 유난히 많은 총탄 자국같은 구멍들, 그 위에 여기저기 화려하게 흐드러진 바위꽃들.
작가는 월출산 시루봉을 오르면서 시간의 흐름에 따라 만나는 시루봉의 촉각지도를 영상으로그린다. 오톨도톨하고 까실까실하고 뭉툭하고 혹은 예리하게 느껴지는 손의 감촉을 따라, 시각을 열었다 닫았다 하면서 느껴지는 것들, 바위의 체온과 냄새, 작가의 육체와 바위의 신체가 서로 부딪히면서 내는 소리, 일어나는 먼지들과 함께 월출산의 생물들의 소리들을 타고 어느 순간 시루봉이라는 존재의 내부로 스며든다.
지금 접촉하는 것은 무엇인가? 그것의 형상화는 어떻게 가능한가? 나에게 육박해오는 균육질의 바위, 고체였다가 액체로, 어느 순간 기체로 한없이 변하는 신체로서의 바위, 그것이 어떤 형상이라 해도 이미 부적절함을 전제하고 불분명한 것에 기초한다는 것, 환원불가능한 방법으로 외부에 우뚝 존재하는 그 무엇으로서의 시루봉! 을 그린다.

Just as climbers living in the suburbs of Seoul go to Insu peak in Bukhan Mountain, climbers living in the suburbs of Gwangju City go to Siru peak in Wolchul Mountain. Siru peak bears a lot of resemblance to the Southern part . Uplifts of soft round lines, softly frayed wrinkles, exceptionally many bullet-like holes, and on top of them, rock flowers splendidly scattered here and there.
The artist draws a video of the tactile map of Siru peak, which she encounters over time while climbing Siru peak of Wolchul Mountain. Along with the sharp, rough, blunt, or sharp touch of the hand, the things felt as one opens and closes one's eyes, the body temperature and smell of the rock, the sound made by the body of the artist and the body of the rock colliding with each other, along with the dust that arises.
